Skin description

Quarry Bros’ MacBook Skins are thin pieces of real slate stone that adhere to your MacBook with a 3M backing. Check out our videos for demonstrations for application and removal. Measuring roughly .8 mm thick, these skins have the look, feel, and durability of stone without adding weight or bulk to your MacBook. Each of our five color choices retain the colors, texture, and sheen you would see in nature. No two skins are exactly alike, allowing you to create a look for your MacBook that is totally unique. As you shop, keep in mind that due to the variation in natural stone as well as differences in monitors and lighting, your stone might not look exactly like the sample on QuarryBros.com. Please see our Style Guide to help you choose the right look for your MacBook.

Color Guide

If your style is sleek, simple, and sophisticated, we'd recommend the Gould stone. It's a consistent color with a texture that isn’t too busy.

If you're looking for a stone with the variation, texture, and uniqueness you'd find in nature, we'd recommend Black Rock, Hajar, or Capitan. Black Rock is the darkest of these, Hajar has the most variety of colors, and Capitan is, you guessed it, the lightest.

If you'd like a stone with some depth and texture but would like to stick to a monochromatic look, Moab would be a great choice.

If a two-tone style skin on the darker side is what you are looking for, Vesuvius is the skin for you.
